Vintage Lover

I first came across the word vintage browsing through a fashion magazine a couple years back. I didn’t know what it meant, but I liked what I saw: a “vintage” beautiful Nina Ricci dress on a Hollywood celebrity. Then another beautiful Chanel dress on another Hollywood celebrity. Even though I didn’t understand what vintage meant, I got the feeling that it was special. I thought that only celebrities and higher-class people with fashion connections could buy such beautiful and unique pieces. But I kept wondering “What makes these people wear fashion from a different era? What is wrong with the clothes that designers create now?” Read the rest of this entry »
