5 Musts for any wedding
Everyone wants their wedding to be a wonderful, awesome, memorable occasion. Of course what that means, and what form that can take, can be as varied and numerous as the couples out there. There are some things that are unilateral musts for any wedding though, and if you take care of each of these things, there is no doubt your special day will be one of the best and most memorable days of your entire life.
Here are some of those “Must-Haves” for any wedding.
1. A great, meaningful location for the ceremony
Many memories fade over the years, there is no getting around that. While it may be hard to imagine this now, in time you may find it difficult to remember everyone who was there at your wedding, what conversations you had, what the best man said for his toast, what you ate for dinner, and so on. But one thing you will never, ever forget is the location of the wedding, what it looked like and how beautiful it was. So be sure to choose a beautiful location and if possible, one that has a lot of meaning to you, perhaps the first place you met, or the venue of your first date.
2. Friends
Friends are without a doubt one of the most important parts of your wedding. Be sure to include everyone who has meant something to you in your journey to this special day, everyone who has been an integral part of your life and helped you to come to this point in your life. On your wedding day, you are beginning a new life with the love of your life, and your friends are there to support and encourage you in your new beginning. Be sure you think of everyone who should be there – special work friends, old professors or teachers, childhood friends, college friends, neighbours, and so on.
3. Family
Weddings are wonderful times to bring people together, and especially to see family members that you don’t get to see often. Even if it’s been a long time or if you had a rift ages ago, do keep your family members both close and distant in mind when you’re planning your wedding. It is a good beginning for your new life together and your new family to be as inclusive and peaceful as possible with all your existing family members, and it’s a great opportunity to meet and start blending the two extended families into one.
4. A photographer
Believe it or not, some people actually consider skimping on a photographer for their wedding. Whether it’s to save money or they’re camera shy or whatever the reason for it, not having a photographer is a big mistake. Good photographs of your special day are definitely must haves for your wedding. So while it’s understandable to want to save money, doing it by not hiring a wedding photographer is not a good idea.
5. A videographer
Similar to a photographer, having a good videographer at your wedding is a very good idea. Photographs are very important, but so is capturing all the movement, sound, and emotion of the day. With a videographer you will have a record of the most important moments like the moment the groom sees his beautiful bride walking down the aisle towards him, the speaking of the vows, the exchanging of the rings, the best man’s toast, and all the fun dancing at the reception. These are memories that will fade in time and should never be forgotten. A videographer is definitely a must have at your wedding.
