Lilia Founder Alyssa Atkins On The Importance Of Fertility Education For Women

“It’s important to know about our fertility because we are making decisions about our lives without complete information, and we use data to drive every other decision in our lives,” Alyssa Atkins told Elise Gasbarrino on this weeks episode of Let’s Talk About.

Alyssa is the founder and CEO of Lilia, a virtual fertility clinic that allows women to make same-day appointments, gain access to doctor and clinic reviews, and investigate insurance transparency, all with the help of a real-life concierge.

Lilia has been featured in Forbes, The Globe and Mail, and FLARE for its innovative approach to helping women make informed decisions about their reproductive health.

Alyssa raises a good question: “Why aren’t we using data to inform a decision as important as whether and when and how we want to have kids?”

The answer? Women don’t have all of the information available to them.

On Let’s Talk About, Alyssa took the time to explain the importance of fertility education and why women of all ages should be provided with every resource available so that they can be proactive about their futures.
