“Don’t be scared by it, if you love what you do and you know you want to do that, go for it, take that chance – you never know until you try,” Jenna and Ashley told Elise Gasbarrino on this week’s episode of Let’s Talk About.
Jenna and Ashley are twin sisters from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Together, they opened Jenna Rae Cakes in 2014, which has grown into multiple locations, media features and a cookbook release.
The founders give advice on starting your own company and tells those who are looking to start a passion focused business, to research every aspect of the industry from both a logical and realistic standpoint. Doing so has helped the sisters uncover hardships that they have faced, that entrepreneurs have to be prepared for.
The most important message that Jenna and Ashley have is to follow your passion, if it is something that you are passionate about and love, don’t let fear stop you.

In October 2020, they published their first cookbook, “Jenna Rae Cakes and Sweet Treats” with Penguin Random House, which is now a national bestseller.
