#TeamPicks from our Public Relations Intern, Makayla Papouloute

There is something about Covid-19 that has allowed people to discover new things. Whether that’s a new hobby, food, style, etc., people have been ready to explore. Our Public Relations Intern here at STYLE CanadaMakayla Papouloute, has also been on that path and learned a lot of new things about herself. Here’s a list of her favourite finds that you may also enjoy!

Harman Reusable 35mm Film Camera

“I was recently looking for a fun and creative way to capture some memories for this summer. I have always been interested in film cameras but a lot of them are not very beginner friendly and quite bulky. I thought that a disposable camera would be my best bet for an easy to use film camera, but I didn’t like the idea of throwing them away and buying new ones. I wanted something a bit more environmentally friendly, so I opted for the Harman Reusable 35mm Film Camera, and it has been amazing! The camera is the perfect size and is  lightweight and durable so I can toss it in my bag wherever I go.  It takes great quality photos and is the best way for me to capture memories while staying in the moment.”

Breathe Weightless Body-Gel Cream

“Self-care has always been my favourite way to celebrate my self-love. I had been in the market for a good clean body cream that was not too heavy and really moisturizing. Lucky for me The Body Shop launched their new wellness line and in it is the Breathe Weight less Body-Gel Cream. This cream has been a staple for me this summer. It is the perfect lightweight cream and it’s not sticky at all. It practically melts into the skin and has a beautiful fresh eucalyptus and rosemary fragrance. On top of all of that it is made with Community Fair Trade (CFT) eucalyptus essential oil from China’s Yunnan province, CFT rosemary essential oil from Spain and is certified vegan. This will continue to be my go to cream this summer.”

Reebok Club C 85 Vintage

“I am a huge fan collecting sneakers, but that hobby can get a little pricey, so I am always on the hunt for an everyday sneaker that’s cute and reliable. The Reebok club c 85’s have been one of my favourite everyday sneakers for years. They match with almost everything, are super durable and pretty affordable. I have had mine for over two years and they are just as amazing as when I first  got them. I will definitely be keeping these in my collection for a very long time.”

Journaling Notebook

“This year I made a promise to myself to take time to journal and reflect at least once a week. I find that journaling is a great way for me to reflect and be creative. Even when I don’t think I have anything of importance to jot down I will still take a page and doodle or scribble. It’s been a fun activity that I can do anywhere at any time, so I take my journal everywhere I go. If you’re looking for a way to connect with yourself I would highly recommend getting yourself a journaling notebook. They are so much fun and really cool to look back on. I’ll be keeping all of my journals forever.”
