I Tried This Sugar-Free Canned Spritzer For All The White Wine Lovers – Here’s What I Thought

Now that we’re heading into “One Dose Summer,” the hope is that we will be able to hit barbeques, picnics in the park and even small pool parties.

If you’re a spritzer lover like me, you’re probably thinking: “How am I going to lug wine and soda to my next backyard bash?”

The answer: you may not have to… and you can still enjoy your favourite beverage!

I tried a relatively new addition to the “ready-to-drink” market, the Good Vines White Wine Spritz, and it is fair to say that I will be swapping out my homemade spritzers – ASAP.[/vc_column_text][nectar_video_player_self_hosted video_webm=”http://35.84.236.74/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/GoodVines-STYLECanada-Bach-Reel-Final.m4v” video_image=”12518″ el_aspect=”43″ align=”center” autoplay=”yes” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none”][vc_column_text]Some concerns I had going in:

  • Why would I want to drink wine out of a can?
  • Won’t it be super sugary?
  • Can’t I just make this myself?

Besides it being one of the tastiest spritzers I’ve ever tasted (restaurant orders included), I was surprised to find out that each can of Good Vines contains only 120 calories and has, wait for it… zero sugar! It is smooth, refreshing and doesn’t have a canned wine taste whatsoever.

To answer my final question, yes: I absolutely could make this myself. But there is nothing worse than having to bring all of the ingredients and mix a drink every 20 to 45 minutes while out.

Name a more stressful activity than everyone waiting for you to start the next game of flip cup while you mix a drink… I’ll wait.

All in all, I am obsessed with the convenience of a ready-made can and will certainly have Good Vines stocked for the foreseeable future. Now all I need are some summer plans…

Grab some Good Vines at your local LCBO for only $2.95 a can and stay tuned throughout the summer for more Happy Hour features on STYLE Canada![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
