Locally loved designers will debut their fall collections at PARKLUXE 2017 fashion show in Calgary on September 30th. Some of the top luxury fashion designers of Canada will take center stage during PARKLUXE 2017 fashion show taking place on September 30th 2017, at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta.
The event, now in its ninth season, features some of Canada’s premier, high-end fashion designers and is designed to connect Calgary’s sophisticated fashion and art lovers with the amazing talent that produces it. The showcase will include a day time market, fashion show presentation, and PARK Pop-Up shops throughout the evening to allow guests to purchase items seen on the runway while also supporting Canadian designers and artists.
“It is important to help foster the development and growth of all the talent we have by celebrating Canadian designers through events like PARKLUXE. Canadians are eager to support local talent and share our love for locally designed fashions that explore the diversity that makes this such a great country,” says PARK President, Kara Chomistek.
Returning to PARKLUXE this year is the world renowned local designer Paul Hardy. Alongside Paul Hardy, guests will be able to enjoy the fall collections from locally loved designers Lauren Bagliore and House of Nonie. From Eastern Canada, we will be showcasing Toronto based couture line NARCES. Banker’s Hall retailers Blu’s, La Chic and Oska will also be showcasing fall collections unique to Alberta. UNTLLD, presented by Shear Luxury boutique in Inglewood, is the headlining designer.
VIP guests will be able to enjoy a complimentary shuttle service from Bankers Hall to Spruce Meadows, a world-class show jumping and events facility, where this year’s event will be hosted.
“Spruce Meadows is an innovative venue for PARKLUXE. Its luxury appeal fits our vision for this years’ showcase,” says Chomistek.
